Characteristics
CorrTech stainless steel balls achieve the highest hardness following heat treatment: Rockwell C 58 to 62. Hartford CorrTech stainless steel balls are passivated to remove free iron contaminants and facilitate the spontaneous formation of a protective passive film.
Corrosion Resistance
CorrTech stainless steel balls have excellent resistance to mild acids, alkalis, foods, fresh water, and air.
Hardness
Rockwell C 58-62 measured on parallel flats.
Sizes
Available in sizes from 1mm to 50.8mm in grades 10 through 1000.
