Profile

Carbon steel balls are an economical alternative to through-hardened precision balls. They provide reliable performance for less expensive anti-friction bearings, steering columns, casters, conveyors and trolleys, roller skates, toys, and drawer slides. Carbon steel balls are also specified for vibratory finishing, plug balls and in aerosol cans where ingredient mixing is required.

Material Characteristics

High hardness and excellent wear resistance. Manufactured from the highest quality carbon steel.

Hardness

Carbon steel balls are case-hardened to Rockwell C 60 minimum (measured on parallel flats) to provide strength and long life.
